Indoor house on Majka Street, Friday and Saturday nights
Portals of Fear is an indoor haunted house at 25 Majka Street in West Mifflin. You do not park at the house. The lot is at 805 Glencairn, and a shuttle runs from there to the door. A ticket is $30. The house asks for ages 13 and up, and it does not admit anyone under 8.
It started as a fundraiser for a St. Thomas youth group and grew into a full-season house. This year it opens Friday, September 25, then runs Friday and Saturday nights through October 31. A few Sundays are on the season as well. Those Sundays were not named, so they are not marked on the calendar.
