Cheeseman Fright Farm
Hayride, maze, and walk-throughs in Portersville
Cheeseman Farm is at 147 Kennedy Road in Portersville, up in Lawrence County near McConnells Mill. At night in the fall the same farm is Cheeseman Fright Farm: a wagon into the woods, a corn maze you walk, and more walk-through scenes after the wagon stops. The 2026 season begins September 18. Friday and Saturday the ticket booth runs from dark until 10 p.m. Sunday nights are October only, from dark until 9. Anyone 12 or under needs an adult on the night attractions.
October weekends in the daytime are a pumpkin festival on the same ground: a $5 hayride and a petting zoo, without the night show. The night show and the daytime festival can fall on the same Saturday. The calendar marks a day if either one is on.

A boxed day is open to the public.
