Corn maze and house in Renfrew
The Beacon is a bar and restaurant at 231 Beacon Road in Renfrew, in Butler County. In the fall the field behind it is a haunted corn maze of about 15 acres, plus a haunted house. A tractor takes you out and brings you back. The night ticket is $25 and is cash. The first tractor leaves at dusk, around 7:00 or 7:30, and the last wagon is at 10. Anyone under 16 needs an adult. The posted nights are Friday and Saturday: September 25 and 26, then October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31. Two Sundays are a different event. October 6 and October 13, from 1 to 4, are a no-scare maze for $10. Those afternoons are the one to use if the night show is too much.
