HallowBOO at the Ligonier park, no jump scares
HallowBOO is the fall season at Idlewild, 2574 Lincoln Highway in Ligonier. The park is the old one: rides, Story Book Forest, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. For these days the water park is closed and the Halloween layer is on. There are no actors jumping out. Costumes are welcome. Story Book Forest is set up for trick-or-treat. There is a corn maze. The gates are 11 to 6.
It is Saturdays and Sundays from September 12 through October 31, fifteen days. A children’s costume parade is at 4 p.m. at the Hillside Theater on October 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31. Saturday, September 26, has a car cruise in the lower lot from 11 to 3. The driver and one passenger of a show car get in free that day.
