Clayton

Clayton, at 7200 Penn Avenue in Point Breeze, was the home of Henry Clay Frick. He made his fortune in coke and then ran the Carnegie steel company. He died in 1919, and not in this house. His wife, Adelaide, kept it. In 1990 the house opened as a museum, part of the Frick Pittsburgh, with the carriages and the art museum on the same grounds. Homewood Cemetery is the property just to the east.

In the rooms, people report footsteps, and a piano playing when no one is sitting at it. No death in the house has been tied to either.
